HEEL PAIN (PLANTAR FASCIITIS)
Plantar fasciitis is caused by inflammation of the plantar fascia, a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of each foot, connecting the heel bone to the toes. It commonly leads to stabbing pain that often occurs with the first steps in the morning. The pain usually decreases with movement but can return after prolonged standing or sitting. Without treatment, the pain can become persistent.

AYURVEDIC VIEW OF HEEL PAIN
In Ayurveda, plantar fasciitis can be correlated to Vatakantaka, caused by an aggravated Vata dosha in the feet, leading to pain, stiffness, and difficulty in walking.
