- β’ Etiology: Eye diseases arise due to vitiation of these doshas, especially Pitta, along with impaired Agni, accumulation of Ama, excessive strain on the eyes, improper diet, night-awakening, emotional stress, and systemic disorders like Prameha (diabetes).
- β’ Pathology: Disturbance in Rakta dhatu and obstruction of the Netra Srotas further contribute to visual impairment and eye pathology.
