Who We Are
Herbal House Ayurveda Healthcare Centre was established from the vision and lifelong aspiration of a qualified passionate Ayurvedic doctor to deliver genuine Ayurvedic medical care in a professional, ethical, and patient centered environment. We are a Ministry of Health (MOH) licensed Ayurveda healthcare facility, operating in strict compliance with UAE health authority regulations.
Our centre adheres to classical Ayurvedic treatment principles while maintaining modern standards of hygiene, patient safety, and clinical documentation. Every patient is evaluated through a systematic Ayurvedic assessment, and treatments are planned with transparency, integrity, and individualized care.
We believe that true healing occurs when the body is supported to correct its internal imbalances through accurate diagnosis, appropriate therapies, disciplined dietary practices, and sustainable lifestyle guidance.
Our Ayurvedic Philosophy
Ayurveda is the ancient traditional system of medicine originating in India, with a documented history spanning over 5,000 years. Its scientific foundations were laid by eminent physicians and scholars such as Acharya Charaka, Acharya Susrutha, and Acharya Vagbhata, who systematically compiled their medical knowledge in classical treatises including the Charaka Samhitha, Susrutha Samhitha, and Ashtanga Hridaya. These authoritative texts provide detailed descriptions of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, surgical practices, and therapeutic principles.
Ayurveda views the human body as an integral part of nature and the universe. It explains health and disease through the balance and imbalance of fundamental principles such as the Tridoshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), Sapta Dhatus (seven body tissues), Malas (waste products), Agni (digestive and metabolic fire), and Manasa Gunas (mental qualities). When these factors remain in equilibrium, health is maintained; when disturbed, disease manifests in the body and mind.
समदोषः समाग्निश्च समधातु मलःक्रियाः।
प्रसन्नात्मेन्द्रियमनाः स्वस्थ इत्यभिधीयते।।
This verse describes a healthy individual (Swastha) as one who has:
- Balanced Doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha)
- Properly functioning digestive and metabolic fire (Agni)
- Well nourished and balanced body tissues (Dhatus)
- Normal and regular elimination of waste products (Malas)
- A calm, content, and stable state of mind, senses, and soul
According to Ayurveda, disease is termed Dosha Vaishamyam, meaning imbalance of the Doshas. The foremost principle of treatment is Nidana Parivarjana, which refers to identifying and avoiding causative factors. Treatment then focuses on restoring balance through lifestyle modification, appropriate dietary regulation, use of classical herbal medicines, therapeutic procedures, and when indicated, surgical interventions.
Ayurvedic medicines are selected based on their Rasa (taste), Guna (qualities), Veerya (potency), and Vipaka (post digestive effect), and on their specific action on the Doshas. Based on these principles, various classical formulations such as Kashaya (decoctions), Asava and Arishta (fermented preparations), Churna (powders), Ghrita (medicated ghee), and Taila (medicated oils) are prescribed.
In addition to internal medications, Ayurveda emphasizes external therapies and purification procedures including Snehana (oleation), Swedana (sudation), Shamana (palliative therapy), Shodhana (purification therapies), and Panchakarma, which play a vital role in detoxification, disease management, and long term health maintenance.
We do not follow a one-size-fits-all approach. Each treatment plan is designed according to the individual’s body constitution and health condition.
