Back Pain Conditions We Treat
Muscle Spasm
Muscle spasm is one of the most common causes of back pain. It occurs due to sudden muscle tightening caused by strain, poor posture, or prolonged sitting, leading to stiffness and restricted movement.
Lumbar Spondylosis
Lumbar spondylosis is a degenerative condition of the lower spine where age-related wear and tear affects the vertebrae and discs, causing chronic back pain, stiffness, and sometimes pain radiating to the legs.
Disc Bulge / Herniation
Disc bulge occurs when the soft inner part of a spinal disc protrudes outward and compresses nearby nerves. This leads to back pain associated with radiating pain, numbness, or tingling in the legs.
Sciatica
Sciatica is back pain caused by irritation or compression of the sciatic nerve. Pain typically starts in the lower back and radiates along the back of the leg, often accompanied by tingling or weakness.
Spondylolisthesis
Spondylolisthesis occurs when a vertebra slips out of position, leading to spinal instability. This condition causes lower back pain, stiffness, and sometimes nerve compression symptoms like leg pain.
Sacroiliitis
Sacroiliitis is inflammation of the sacroiliac joints connecting the spine and pelvis. It causes lower back pain and stiffness, especially after prolonged sitting or rest, and is commonly aggravated by posture and movement.
Ankylosing Spondylitis
Ankylosing spondylitis is a chronic inflammatory condition affecting the spine and sacroiliac joints. It causes persistent back pain, morning stiffness, and progressive restriction of spinal mobility.
